I figured this buck would get a few of you. If this crabbed front buck would of forked in front you would be looking at a dandy. This buck got me also first when I guessed him at 163. Things that make this buck tricky are his size. His neck stretches the tape over 32". His head is enormous. Because of these two factors it makes the buck seem less massive. I tried to set the two bucks about the same height in the contest so you guys would see the difference in height. Go back and look at that picture again so you can see how tall this buck actually is. The buck on the right may appear to be the nicer buck, but the smaller body and head make the bucks seem like they have the same mass. The Main beam also makes up the difference of having crabby fronts. What a great beam length!!
So the official score of Terry's buck is 173. Right on the money.
