Wondering if anybody has any thoughts on this unit? The quality of this hunt and any experiences if they are willing to share. Pics? I know a few guys that have a decent chance at drawing this tag this year.

I have looked at this unit a few times in the past. I do not have any personal experience with this unit, nor have i been able to hear any actual report. I have spoke with the operator in the past.
Here's my take on the unit:

- Any unit of that size with the type of terrain available will hold deer.
- The tag numbers are pretty high.
- I am always weary of CWMUs especially when outfitters are involved, they have the ability to spot the deer early and get the paying customers on them in September before the public hunter has a chance.
- It's a gamble on the dates you take, do you take the early October in hopes of getting first crack at the public hunt, Or do you hold out for the November hunt hoping to find a bigger buck that only shows himself after the influence of the rut?

Yes there are decennt bucks on the property. Don't set your expectations too high. Scout the area in early September take a look at what is available and set your standards from there. Unfortunately some CWMUs will only offer public hunters the chance at harvesting 130"-140" deer, and this may be one of them.
All in all I would say it looks like a pretty good place to burn 1-3 points.
