This is a 2004 Chalk Creek, private land buck. Don't hunt up there anymore (rich guys came in and WAY outbid us to hunt the small property). Curtis Wilson out at Monarch Taxidermy provided the cape, and my uncle did the mount. I love it...!!
He is exactly 27" wide, scores 171 6/8" gross with a net of 167 4/8" For me, he'd be a shooter just about anywhere...
Thanks again to Curtis- His weekly scoring contests are so much fun, and the quality of the work I saw at his shop is seriously second to none...!!
And thanks to my uncle who loves mule deer as much as I do and did a great job on the buck..!
