I wish I could take claim on the big velvet buck but I can't. It was my wife's Grampa's, nobody in her family hunts so when he passed I took them off of his shed, had velvet sprayed on and mounted it up.

As for the three point he is really a 4X4 but he 18" wide 2 1/4" tip to tip at top and 24" tall archery buck.

I love tall and narrow bucks!

The buck on the left is 35 1/2" and grossed 212" as a typical. The one on the right is 34" and grossed 190". My neighbor's BIL here in West Texas does the taxidermy. He's obviously very talented and has won many awards.

I have been threatening to buld a new one for a few years since my move, but the economy and a few other issues have me holding my purse strings pretty tight.
I need to get off my dead ass and get that project started.
We used to have a newer home in town with huge vaulted ceilings and tons of room but traded it for a place out in the hills.

This was my trophy room at my old house a few years back minuus a few recent mounts.

I REALLY miss having a trophy room, but wouldn't trade for where I live now.

Wow Fortis, that muley on the right is exceptional! I've never seen a rack so wide that comes straight out the sides like that! Looks like somebody hit on the head with a frying pan or something! Definitely a good'n!

ya Johnny-very nice display-Your big wide Sonoran buck looks really good and I like the way the ears are so the straight out beams look really cool. So often in the rut u see them turn their ears down like that-nice wall!!
