I need some help or just advise

Okay so I need some help, I didn't draw my bookcliffs tag, but I did draw my general season archery, last year I hunted strawberry, seen some bucks, but nothing big, I was hunting current creak peak. should I try and stand above a water hole or spot and stalk, with all the water this year Im not sure what to do? can anyone point me in a good direction? I use to hunt south slope area because I could hunt deer and elk at the same time, but with low buck ratios in that unit, I changed and started hunting strawberry, should I hunt strawberry again, or maybe even go down south, if you think south, give me a direction. any advise is appreciated. thanks

The deer hunting is usually a little better south, but the elk hunt is not. If you just want deer PM me, maybe I can point you in a good direction. However, I will not put you in my honey holes. I don't even take my little brother to those. And the water is here now, but I bet it doesn't last, and the fires will start about July.
