How will the wet weather patern in Utah, along with the higher then normal snow pack affect the antler growth this year? Will it make them bigger, smaller or will it even matter?

They're saying this is the wettest spring in atleast 150 years in northern Utah. I'm sick of it!

IMO antler growth is going to be fair to average in the mountain areas, and great in the deserts. Green up is slow in the mountains this year, and right now is the critical time for antler growth. Animals should go into next winter in great shape though. There's going to be a ton of feed this summer in the highcountry.

Last year was fairly wet as well and I think it might have more bearing on antler growth this year than the current moisture.

It'll be a great year for a desert tag.

I think we got to much water, and the grass is going to grow really tall, dry out and catch on fire. I am waiting to see how big of fires and where they strike. I agree 100% with what was said about the desert. Right now the deer and elk are having a hard time getting up the mountain. So they are staying with the green up, but it is a slow migration up to the summer range.
