arrowelk: You will have to ask the local Colorado guys, but my impression is that Yes they are legal, but the Colorado guys are in a better position to answer this than I am.
As far as I know, the answer is yes. I've been tossing around the idea of getting one myself. I havn't read anything in the reg's that would lead me to believe otherwise!
They are legal in Colorado but it has to be the 50 cal. I've been looking for one of the 209X50's since before Christmas and no one has them. (Cabela's or Bass Pro). Do you have a line on them? I've handled the 209X45 and it is a sweet unit. Also you can't use sabots in Colorado.
