A Unique looking buck

Very unique for sure. Looks likes he's grown a little over the last week or so. Here's some pics I took of him earlier.

I believe I have pics of this buck last year as a typical 4 point approaching the 170" mark. Rumor has it that he got hit by a car. The 170" buck last year did have an open wound on his rear right flank. I wonder if the wound was the cause of the weird growth this year?

Wow - do you know where this pic was taken? Looks awful similar to Goliath - the big double beam buck from Colorado Springs.

P_N_T---It's doubtful they are the same deer. Normally when a buck is injured he will grow a weird rack on the opposite side from where the injury occurred and this one has the goofy side on the right.

I posted the pics the evening after I took them. Assuming you took the pics today, the growth we see is the difference from may 26th to june 4th.

TopGun My memory could serve me wrong as to which side the wound was on. I hung out a while when his buddies had one side shed. And remember seeing a wound on the buck that I think is this one. I could be wrong though.

Pines, if the wound was high up on the hip, then this is the buck. There looks to be on old wound on his left hip. Funny, but after I clicked on your link, I rembered reading your post, but didn't put 2 n 2 together that this was the same buck. Thats not like me. I'll use the excuse I just turned old last week.

Yelum---Then that would make sense with the rack being weird on the right side if he had an old wound on the left side and this newer one is on the right. He must be a cat with nine lives or something. Maybe he doesn't know he's supposed to cross the road where there are deer crossing signs!
