Hey guys. I am new to the site and have loved reading the reports. I have hunted in utah for a long time but have never gotten anything good. I hoped this year would be different... but as usual I did not draw any limited entries I put in for and I am stuck with the Central Region general hunt.

My question is where to hunt in the Utah central region? I have looked at tons of maps and google earth and the West Desert Deep Creek Range looks good. Has anyone hunted out there recently (last year or two)? IS there lots of deer numbers or few and any size to the bucks?

I will be hunting with my father this year and would like to put him on a buck... So any info would be appreciated. He has not gotten anything in Utah for a long time.

Its a long drive out there so I am hoping I can get some information about the area before I make the drive?

Is there any better mountain ranges to check out in the central region general hunt area?

Please feel free to give me advice on the area (Deep Creek and other ranges) and I would appreciate it very much

THanks in advance.
