Blood on his cheek is because it's the first time he was in on the stalk and THERE at the shot and field dressing (he was going to bite the heart, like his grandpa told him but his dad wasn't so hardcore.

These are different deer from the several years!

Thank you. I've wanted to post pictures for 10 years. I've never been able to figure it out. This could be FUN!

Within the shadows, go quietly.

The top one is 29 3/8 wide. The forks are nothing but my 4 1/2 year-old son was watching through the spotting scope (he'd hiked the mountain with me).

The one that is skylined, James watched (about a mile away) through the spotting scope and saw it fall before he heard the sound of shot (someone was with him and James and I were on walkie talkies).

He told me, "It was a tricky deer. You better shoot again. It ducked! He was PREETTTYY tricky!"

(The tricky deer isn't my biggest, because I have three very similar to the mounted one.....but he'll ALWAYS be my favorite!)

Great pictures in great country and a great guy. Helped me on ID when I asked! Grant send me a PM and I'll give you the hidy hole of a great buck I saw last year in your country!

Nice bucks GB22!! Also glad you were able to figure the picture thing out. Keep them coming and thanks for sharing.
