I couldn't help myself a friend texted me this picture and I think its the sexiest deer I have ever seen. (not telling where he snapped the pic.) but it goes to show Central Unit still has the Genes there if we'd just let them grow up.

mnnn. . . rocky mountain oysters!

Thing looks like it has the hair of the Greek goddess Medussa. Snakes for hair. That is an awesome animal.

up anyway."

GPS Coordinates Please!:D

For GAWDS Sakes Guys,We Got Kids on this Site,Some of them are 65 years Old!:D

I don't care if they're big or small!
If they throw lead I like em all!
:p

That is the most impressive deer Ive sen anywhere in a long time.

Damn! That's a hell of a deer.

The voices in my head may not be real, but they have
some good ideas!

Double droppers, that would cross one off my mule deer bucket list. Really, that buck is awesome, goodluck to your bud.

Check out the twists and curls on that crazy rack. Never seen anything like it. Thanks for sharing.

"Agreed. A deer like that in Utah wont last long. He will get poached by the end of the year. Awsome buck!"

I don't doubt this one bit! Pretty sad IMO!

For some reason I have never been much for nontypicals, but I have to say that deer is probably the neatest one I've ever seen with such a great mainframe and those neat extras. Thanks for sharing!!!

Just can't figure why anyone would want to "poach" a great beast like this one?? Besides, he's on film now and wouldn't it be easy to prove it if he was. There arn't any others like him running around. A great one like this definitely needs to be taken legally or not at all..

>They all look big when in
>the velvet. ;-)

>Joey

I think that one will stay looking big when the velvets gone..

I have seen this pic somewhere else, he is a monster, the other dude said he was from N/W Colorado though?

Boy, and I thought the bucks in the field by my house were getting big.
He's a beauty alright!
Thanks for letting us have a peek at him.

Now, where did you say that was? LOL
Zeke

Another look at him.

kind of makes me proud to eat tag soup every year knowing deer like this are still around

mnnn. . . rocky mountain oysters!

Thats a gawd dang bruiser!! MossKnuckle needs to get on it and copyright/trademark "medusa" just like "spyder bull"

I'm thinking 213 net? I'm also thinking it would be a good idea to GPS tag that buck because of all the dirtheads that would poach that in a heartbeat. A buck like that belongs in a Museum! Absolutely breathtaking! Wow

What a beautiful animal! I hope his new found fame doesn't put a bounty on his head, illegal or otherwise. I'd love to see him hard horned.

I will sell the GPS coordinates if you guys are interested. Its a small finders fee for a deer of this quality. How much will you guys pay for a shot at him?

I put him around 240 gross non typ but he's a better buck than that score might indicate. Can you spell PIG? Nice to see, thanks!!

Joey

"Yelum knows what he's talking about..."

Lol, ...and i don't? i don't doubt that he does but i don't doubt myself too much either!

I think that bucks mainframe is bigger than it looks. Even with the relatively small fronts, i believe the main frame is close to 200".
Also i see another point coming off behind his left g-2. Nice eyeguards, huge frame and and near 40" inches of extras...that's just what i can see in the pic, i'll stand by my 240 guess and say to each his own.

Joey

LAST EDITED ON Aug-07-11 AT 10:17PM (MST)[p] weak fronts, ok backs, decent inside spread and beams. 180 frame , 210 type buck no way over 220!

My Dream buck looks mostley like that. I'd rather have the bone from the droppers put in the main frame. I like the kickers, but I would rather have more "umph" in the main beams and G4's than the droppers...but that's just me. Love the frame and the backs tho...WOW...

"That's a special feeling, Lloyd"

AMAZING!! Totally would have kept this guy quiet until I arrowed him.

Don't feel to bad Sage, we are all just guessing from a picture. My guesses are always conservative. I put up numbers and came up with this. I'm probably high on some, and low on others, but overall pretty close.

Lol, feel bad? Why would i feel bad if you and boot underestimated this buck? He's got over 40"s of mass and more extra inches than your giving credit for. Throw in a inch or two here and there for the fact that his frame is bigger than it looks and i'm right in the game.

Now, there is the possibility that i'm wrong and this bucks frame is not as big as i believe it to be but i think it's one like that huge Az buck that you were holding last year that everybody said wasn't as big as it was. You said it was huge, biggest you ever held... I think this buck has that kind of rack...it would surprise people and in person, tape out very near 200" main frame.

It is a pic though, i don't take scoring a buck off a pic too serious so, even though i like to be close in my scoring off such, i don't take it too serious.

Happy hunting this year Yelum, Good Luck to You!!

Joey

Like I said, we're judging from a pic from one angle. I'm ok if I under score him. I'll never get my hands on him so I can only drool over the pic. Flat out cool looking buck. Hopefully we get to see pics of him hard horned.

Thanks man. Good luck to you as well.

Yelum

I will agree that if this buck has a 200 inch frame then yes he will be pushing 240. But I don't see it! And i'd rather under score him that way I'm stoked when he's bigger then thought. And after seeing all of us In the score contest, we all sucked on alot of the scores and got close on a few. I say 218 and not an inch more! :)

I hope I never see a buck like this during season.... I'd just pee myself and have nightmares about him for the rest of my life.

BUT heck yes I'd shoot a calf elk!

I'm w Joey on this one, 240+. Thx for posting the pics kfed.

his cheaters are uniform too. the extra that you see in the second pic has the exact same on the other side. hopefully I can get some video on him. (id guess somewhere in the 230 range on a 180 frame.)

mnnn. . . rocky mountain oysters!

LAST EDITED ON Aug-09-11 AT 07:56AM (MST)[p]Yelum your missing a couple of measurements.....he has sneaky cheaters going straight out the back...... ;-)

whoops never mind your only missing one.....all of his cheaters have a matching side....

littlebeaver.jpg

Is it just the angle of the picture or dose he have a extra little cheater coming out over his left eye?
