hunt as late as you can! dont let the operator push you around either. Looks like you drew one of the 2 public tags. there will be 18 private tags. you deserve as good as treatment as the paid hunters do. nov nov nov. try to get the late dates in november.
Get the latest dates you can, don't take any Bull Crap from that operator, he thinks he's some big stuff up in Weber, Morgan, and Cache counties. Insist on the November hunt dates and you'll turn up a pretty good muley!
+2 4130. Hunt late and hope for weather to push some bucks on from the neighboring properties, it still gets over hunted with the 18 cwmu tags, and the resident bucks dont have any age on them. If you are one of the public draw tags and by chance you do kill a good buck dont let that damnn operator try to push and pressure you into a trophy fee!! My family used to be able to hunt part of the cwmu before it was a cwmu. My dad took a lot of decent bucks of the place, nothing giant. Do try for the later hunt, you will see a lot more deer but there are good deer on it early too. I would expect a 140-150 maybe you will get lucky and find a 160.
