LAST EDITED ON Sep-01-11 AT 04:45PM (MST)[p]I have an opportunity for a voucher tag. Thumbs up or down? It's inexpensive. Talking about Colorado.

I grew up and live in BV and it depends on what season/area you are asking about... In town yea there are more than one 200" bucks that make this town their home but I sure hope you dont plan on shooting one of our "town pets".. Hell my ma could shoot a 200" buck out of her hot tub but I just dont see why anyone would do that.

Since archery landowner tag cant be what you are askin about it has to be a rifle season and yea good luck it can be fun and if you do your work and with a bit of luck you may score a 160 ish buck.

These units around here are not where you will see a ton of deer or huge bucks but like any other unit in co there are good bucks to be found if you do your homework.

Good luck and it is always fun to get out and hunt so I would take a free tag if it were offered to me. Now to pay for one is another deal..

Well kayak!

You don't Understand TARD Logic!

They'd shoot a Decent Buck out of their Jail Cell if they had a Weapon!

Hot Tub?Hell! That wouldn't even Slow Em down!

And Yes!

These TARDS Would shoot em within City Limits without even thinking twice!

Hey a friend and I did pick up a voucher for 3rd season. It comes with some ground we can hunt in 481 and I've looked at the state trust lands brouchure. The voucher is good for 48,56, 481 and 561 is there better hunting in one of the units verus the others. Not sure what to expect on the ground we can hunt it seems like it could be crowded with both deer and elk hunters. We picked the voucher up because we wanted to go hunt this fall after another unsucessful draw. We are just starting our research and any help pointing us in a general direction would be appreciated, and no we won't shoot the town bucks maybe just bump one with the truck. LOL! Thanks for any help.

I had town bucks where i lived in utah. I saw some kids stalking one with a bow on the golf course. Sheesh! But I didn't grow up in utah and only lived there for six years. As for Buena Vista I will pass as Idaho is going to do just fine this year.

What about the private property you got the tags off of??? You are allowed to hunt all of their private land the tags were issued for by state law. I would check that area out first....

I believe there is only a few hundred arces and from what I can tell he sold 7 deer vouchers and 5 elk vouchers. Its seems like alot of people for the amount of ground, but we will visit with him some more. I wouldn't want to count soley on the private and would want a back up plan just in case. Thanks,

Had a tag for that unit last year, I did see a number of decent bucks and a few good ones, both on private and public land. Would like to help you out, but we were hunting on private land.
