ivideo, now why did you have to go and do that for? I am heading down on the Manti for the muzzy hunt. 12 days and counting. Can only hope to find his hidey hole when I am there and put a Thompson TKO on him baby!

utahbigbull; i typed last fall, this vid was actually a couple years ago. Not to discourage ya, but if you have hunted deer on the Manti, you know about the herd! It really is bad, this buck was very much the exception. It is just amazing what November turn's up. But I do wish you luck on your muzzy hunt, people have seen a few good bucks this summer.

I hear ya! I seen a couple diecent ones last Nov on the late bull hunt. And some brutes two years ago scouting early Aug. They just never apear during the hunt he he. Going to give it hell anyways. I know there are a few big ones down there hiding but they are far and few between. I just grew up in the area and love that mountain!

LAST EDITED ON Sep-15-11 AT 08:33AM (MST)[p]I've seen some very nice bucks on the Manti unit this year, and last year, and the year before that. Not as many as the "good old days" but I think it is doing just fine (at least where I hunt). Good luck to all!

I hear ya, during the late bull hunt 2 years ago out of the blue out in Pigeon Hollow we ran on to a freaking monster, well over 30 and talll as hell. Never saw him previous. We also ran on to a pig in Jolleys hole that november, and I hunted all the muzzy and the rifle and was in there a ton, then boom here he is and we saw him all the time. 12 days, tick, tick, tick. I can only pack the trailer so many times.

When they came for the road hunters I was not one so I said nothing. When they came for the oppurtunists I was not one so I said nothing. When they came for the public land hunters I was not one so I said nothing. When they came for me there was no one left to say anything!
