Pauns Rifle Help

Hey Guys, My wife has a Pauns Rifle tag this year. This unit is huge. We are looking for some help to know where to begin our search. may even need to hook up with a guide. any help offered would be greatly appreciated.

Hey dreamchaser,I hunted there last year with A guide and I am glad I did.Start out by calling the muley crazy guys and they will send you in the right direction.Good luck,its A fun hunt

I would not get a guide. Get a good map. Off of Johnson canyon,you can go east to Nephi pasture or west to john r flat. Lot of roads and good glassing points. Also good wafer holes out on the buck skins. Its all migration by hat time. All a guide will do is put you on spots that will have deer moving by. You can do that on your own.

Hunted it 2 times now. Get out and learn the roads and find good glassing points. We drove the roads ALOT. You can also hit just below the first cliffs by skudompah (spelling). We went west out of glendale on the glendale bench road. Its a great hunt. Have fun and enjoy the beauty.
