Well I'm now the proud father of a new generation HUNTER/KILLER! My son Jordan,( A.K.A Corndog), harvested his very first buck here in Nevada. I tell ya theres nothin like being there when it all comes together and your kid gets to experience the satisfaction of putting there hands on there first kill. I'm thankful that he has grown to love the sport and has the desire to take part in one of our most basic yet highly coveted freedoms!... I think the smile on his face tells the rest of the story.

Oh ya check out that "OLD SCHOOL" hunting cap! Thats the reason for my post title.... Uncle Shaun dubbed him the Elmer Fud Buck.
Thanks again to the EYEMAN for being there with us.

The basic rules of firearms safety:
Treat every firearm as if it were loaded. Never assume a firearm is unloaded.

Always point the firearm in a safe direction. Even if an unwanted discharge occurs no one will be hurt if you always point the gun in a safe direction.

Awesome first buck! I'm glad that we were all able to git -r- done when it sure looked like there were no bucks to be found! your boy will never forget this hunt! I can't wait to experience taking my boys on their first hunting trips! Again congrats to your boy for gettin it done!

Nicely done. Congrats..

Government doesn't fix anything and has spent trillions proving it!!!
Let's face it...After Monday and Tuesday, even the calender says WTF!

Thanks guys for the responses.

I just want to let all the bonepickers and safetyheads to know that the gun WAS unloaded and it was positioned well in front of the deer pointing staight up.

if you look closer to the pictures we are all sitting well behind the buck out of the path of the barrel.

As a father of four sons, congratulations, it doesn't get any better than that. Trust me I've been there, I know how it feels!

Thanks

Brownie

Great story and congratulations to father and son. I have 4 young sons and can't wait to be able to have the same stories that you have produced. We need to continue to pass on our great sport to the future generations so that our freedoms can be preserved. Great job again and thanks for the pictures.
