Missing Elk Hide ( Caution )

I just want to inform you hunters out there that if you plan on getting your hide tanned, do not send it to Rocky Mountain Tanners. If you do you may not get it back. I sent my Elk hide to them last year from a 370 class bull and this August they wanted to send me another hide. That means they eather lost it or sold it on the open market for $250.00 or more. They paid me $10.00 for the raw hide minus the shipping charges and I got screwed. If you want to varify this call Rociy Mountain Tanners at 303-293-2882 or email [email protected]. Rocky Mountain Tanners at 4965 So. Broadway, Englewood Co. 80113. It would not bouther me at all if you would put the presure on them and contack them and voice your opinon about how they screwed me out of a trophy size Elk hide. This hide ment a lot to me because my son shot it with a bow and arrow on a hunt in Arizona on unit 10#.
