Here is a couple of bucks that I helped pack out this week (been a busy one :) ).

The first buck my brother shot on opening morning. My dad and Brother were walking up the ridge and looked up to see this buck running down right at them. The buck stops and reverses as fast as he can, My brother and dad split up and my brother made the 300 yard sprint up the ridge to catch up to the buck and made an awesome 200 yard shot with a 25 .06.

The second buck was taken yesterday the 25th. My good friend and I did a huge hike and alot of glassing. We had some snow storms and wind come up during the day making for some cold hands and poor visibility. We were on our way toward the top of a ridgeling to walk down and out of the canyon for the day when I spotted this buck throught the falling snow, just below the peak. We got to a spot where the buck was 270 yards but the poor visibility and steep uphill shot stopped us from shooting at that location. We made an awesome stalk back around the ridgeline, crawling through some small cliffs and avoiding the crunchy snow. We crawled up to our small shooting point, the snow finially stopped and my friend made an awesome shot at 230 yards to put the buck down with one shot. I think I was more excited that he was because this was his first deer and it was the coolest stalk I have ever made.

I didnt carry a gun during this years general and it had been one of the most memorable for sure!

Cheers, Steven.

Congrats on the success. That last buck is either a VERY good one or you got a flattering picture! I LOVE heavy antlers.

Within the shadows, go quietly.

Great bucks, Congratulations to the hunters.

Love the heavy antlers on the 2nd buck.
