LAST EDITED ON Oct-30-11 AT 09:33PM (MST)[p]Duwane Adams' camp started off a great season up in the Kaibab this year. Duwane says this is the best he's ever seen it in 33 years! This is great news to all the late tag holders that are dreaming of taking huge bucks this year.

It was a rough start with a warm first five days but then the weather turned for the best. Once that happened, Duwanes' camp killed four bucks that first cold day after the snow. They started seeing big bucks every day and endured some missed shots, busted stalks, and got to see some huge bucks hit the dirt. All the while having a tremendous time.

I've been a part of these camps and boy, they know how to find 'em, and have fun doing it! Congrats to you all, guides and hunters alike.

I can't wait to see what the lucky trophy hunt tag holders bring this year! I know Buranut drew a coveted tag AGAIN this year and will be in camp in a few short weeks.

That last pic looks like a good ole days photo Except they didn't cape them out then :) thanks for sharing.

Impressive lineup. Duwane is one of the best guides there is. His hunters consistently take some of the biggest bucks off the Kaibab. Great job guys.

Wow! If I didn't know better I would say that photo is from the early 80's. There are no big deer killed on the Kaibab early hunts........:)

I know of 2 MM'rs who will put up pictures of the late hunts. Should be a good one.... Thanks, Allen Taylor......
