Some friends just finished a hunt in unit 30. Here is one sent from his phone, a 21" spread, and he said it weighed 250 lbs? Shot from 1500 yards.Not really that far a shot,I put that in, if he can, so can I. (we are Texans).

Nice deer, I have hunted 30 during the muzzle loader hunts before and it was challenging to say the least.

1500 yards is approaching a mile, not saying it was or wasent that far but there is a lot of shiz that goes into hitting something that far away. Plus most hunting setups arent capable of that kind of shot. Nice buck and if it really was shot at 1500 yds well then holy shi%.......

Wow! 1500 yards huh? That's a long shot, I don't think I could get within 10 feet at that distance. That's 260 yards short of a mile. There are so many factors that come into play at that kind of distance. And if I'm not mistaken the Coriolis effect would even come into play. I think your friend should try out for Seal Team 6. Not saying he didn't make that shot. But if he did then Holy Crap!
