Hypothetical question for those of you that have been. Assuming you had five NR preference points to burn and wanted to set up a DIY hunt, what units would you apply for and why?

LAST EDITED ON Nov-14-11 AT 11:20AM (MST)[p] I HAVE 5 NR POINTS, AND AT THE PRESENT I AM BEING CAREFUL TO DO MUCH HOMEWORK. A LOT OF AREAS IN WYOMING AREN'T DOING WELL, OR ARE DOWN IN DEER NUMBERS. EVEN SOME OF THE TOP AREAS ARE STRUGGLING A BIT.......THIS MIGHT BE INTERESTING......(PRIVATE GROUND IS LOOKING BETTER)......................YD.

I'd apply for a LE high country tag in the western part of the state. Personally, I feel there are trophys in each of the units there, and the country is amazing for a DIY public ground hunt. I burnt my points there and don't regret it a bit.
