I'm leaning towards a wall pedestal mount. I'm interested in seeing any that you guys have mounted. If you know what form was used that would be helpful too. Thanks

Joe Coombs Wall pedestal mount. If you look at his website,he has a new wall pedestal full sneak mount now. My taxidermist prefers MacKenzie mule deer forms over the Joe Coombs mule deer forms though. Despite that I'm extremely happy with how my buck came out.

Dang nice mounts. It's a tough decision. Sask, curious why you changed how the heads? Is it just a preference between the two companies?

My taxidermist prefers the look of the Mckenzie heads over the trufitt but the trufitt overall form looks better than the Mckenzie. The McKenzie almost looks hunch backed to me. I like the look of the Joe Coombs pivot pedestal mule deer form. I am wondering if it could be modified to fit on the wall.

I just had my 2011 buck mounted on Joe Coombs new full sneak wall pedestal. The form took a lot of modifying to make it work. The faces of the forms are waaay small. And the head is tipped down too much. My taxi had to whack the head off, split it and add a half an inch to the width, then tip the chin/head up. I wanted him to look like he was rutting, and I think my taxi nailed it. It's definately a mount that is unique, and it turned out pretty dang sweet. He's drying now, I'll post some pics when he's finished up.

I can't wait to see those photos. I am considering one of those for this years deer.

Well here's the finished product of the Joe Coombs new full sneak wall pedestal. It turned out ok. But I think it needs something else. Maybe needs to be on a double pedestal mount or something???? The form took a lot of modifying to get it to fit, and look right. Had to cut the head off and tip the head up to make it look right. It had a really sharp downward look, and it just didn't look right for a full sneak type mount. It might have looked better with a bigger/heavier rack, Idk??? Anyway, give me your thoughts???

This is what the form "shows" it looks like on the website for Joe Coombs. But, the form you get it drastically different. Nose is pointed way down no more up like shown.
