I'm not condoning breaking any rules but "shooting one for food" or party hunting, at least ends up with steaks. I grew up when EVERYBODY party hunted (my first deer tag was used, by an older cousin, before 8 AM on opening morning...did I feel cheated!).
Such was a bad idea for several reasons but at least the deer were eaten.
Two deer without using ANY of it, is hard to comprehend! I don't even know what to say, except I hope they find and lynch those guys.
I've put ten thousand hours into finding deer like the big one; have found a couple during season and MANY that weren't legal. It never occurred to cheat on one of them (gotta' respect your quarry, I guess)....I (most of us) just admire them. HOW can they!
(And the 2-point would have grown!)
