Last Monday there was a post called "Monster Muleys".Their comment was why if this is a Monster Muley site why was there (Meat Deer & Kid's size Deer) pic's & post's on here.I noticed some guys use the Mule Deer forum for their Entertainment. They try to think of a post that stir's the pot and pisses people off. Their goal is to see how many Reply's they can get A 100 maybe. Some guy's don't read very far and don't waste their time. well I did when I got to the end and made my Reply (67 going for 100).I posted if they thought this forum was for Monster Muley's only they need to go back and read a post from Oct. About Chad a guy in a wheelchair from utah allot of you remember that love's to hunt. And should feel blessed they can still get out chase Deer of any size. Well I found the post and put it up and waited for the response. But the post that had guy's going back and fourth stoped.I waited awhile but nothing one guy got back on and tryed too get thing's going again so I went to bed. Woke up this morning and the whole post was deleted. Did MM do this or did somebody get a slice of Humble Pie when they read Chad's Hunt again. Eveybody does not hunt for the same reason's some hunt big rack's only. Some go for the meat and some go just to get out and go camping with family and friend's and would not shoot a buck if it ran in camp and jumped in their truck. RESPECT them all it's their tag to do what they want with it! I'am going to post Chad's hunt again so those that did not see it the first time can enjoy it. And those that did can see it again and remember how lucky we all are to be able to go out and hunt the way we want too. And if after reading about and seeing Chad's TROPHY and the look of joy on his face. Those guy's that think this site is for Monster Muley's only can look him in the eye's and tell him he did something wrong and he don't belong on this forum good luck sleeping at night!

While I am fairly new to posting on this forum, I have been reading this forum for a number of years. I have always enjoyed the post about success and near success, but sometimes I think we try to put other MM members down because what they choose to shot isn't up to certain standards. I agree with Brutus 54 and say let's enjoy the pics and stories even if it isn't up to what you would shoot.
The guys I hunt with will agree with me when I say if your happy with what you shoot so am I. After all it doesn't matter what you hunt, where you hunt,or how big your trophy is, it is just who you hunt with.

Excellent post and what a great story.
I too read through the post you are referring to, I did not post any comments because it was useless to try and argue with EgoManiacs.
The guys who truly believe that this is and should only be a trophy only site are ignorant to say the least, they don't live in reality and in my opinion, the only intention was to see how many people they could piss off.

You have nailed it. Chad is what hunting is about family and friends together.

Probably won't make 100 here but I'll help ya get a bit closers since I feel more MMers should read this. Thanks for posting...

Agreed!

I don't think there is any other quality so essential to success of any kind as the quality of perseverance. It overcomes
almost everything, even nature.

+1 I think a trophy should be judged by the person holding the tag and nobody else. Basically, if you can't say something nice then don't say it.

I can understand some of these guys and there views on Trophy hunting.
With the situation alot of the younger generations are in with the outdoor channel as there main influence, Mossback video's, Jim Shockey and the rest of the group are who alot of these people are trying to measure up too and it just isnt realistic for alot of us.
I am a "Trophy Hunter". I hunt in WY mostly and have not killed a buck in three years.
I like to shoot big bucks and it can get frustrating, and that is what I see on here is alot of frustration.
But we (me) need to see this post as reality.
If we can leave people that hunt on public land alone, let them shoot what they want. I am totally with the guy that doesnt want to shoot small bucks and does but until laws change people can and will shoot small bucks and does so I dont think it is the right of the individual to tell another individual what he or she can or cant legally shoot.
hunting is hunting, there are more important things in life. Some of us are just having a hard time seeing that.
Thanks for the reminder.
Good post.

Well said. I absolutely love to read posts like Chad's story or see video clips about the young disabled girl that hunted with her dad this fall. Hunting for me is about the experience and time spent with my family and friends. Fortunately there are still quite a few posts that make MM worth while.

Thanks CD That was great.

Great job Chad and Kiarra. You represent the best of the hunting community. May you both continue to enjoy the great outdoors with your family and friends.

Latturner or one of his moderators deleted it and I did make the post and shared my opinion. Is it right in my mind and others ya some people didn't like it.

If there wernt antlers on em 90% of these "hunting experts" on this site wouldnt hunt. They never had and probably never will know the pleasure of hunting without being so focused on the "trophy",its nothing but a di^% measuring contest to them and they dont get what hunting means to many of us.
