I was just reading on the DWR website and it says the Utah mule deer are 100,000 or more below objective and 500,000 below levels seen in the 60's and they are confused as to how to increase the population....they ramble about conifer encroachment, energy development.....bla...bla....bla

What happend to the population of deer on the Henrys and Books when HUNTERS stopped killing deer for a few years. Did their populations explode? Are there new state record bucks coming from there? Dont both of those units litterally CRAWL with bears and cougars and coyotes and.....

Yeah you get my drift....now some smartypants tell me how it is the cars...conifers...and global warming....that caused us to lose 500,000 deer
