DON'T YOU THINK???

I do not understand all of the posts on here complaining about all of the wolf sightings in Utah. People complaining that the DWR will not admit that they are in the state. Now maybe some people disagree with how the DWR manages their deer and elk herds and so forth. But don't you think that maybe the reason they aren't owning up to the fact is that they want people to go out and shoot the damn things and get rid of them?

I was told by a fish and game officer that there isnt wolves in utah. They are just big coyotes and gave me a wink

The threads were never intended as a bash the DWR for denying it. At least my thread wasn't.

For me, it is all about the fact of if they never fessed up to it before, and now coming out with the "might be here", we are screwed because soon, we will not get the "wink" at the end of the big coyote comment. A "heads up" that a whole new world of wolf regulation is soon coming to Utah is what my intentions were.

If I had my way, we would all be in the hills east of springville shooting them god forsaken oversized coyotes before any DNA tests can be done.

I guess I would never condone anyone to "knowingly" shooting a wolf...but I wouldn't know about it if they did it and never said a word.

I have talked to a couple of people high up in the DWR in Utah over the last couple weeks about the wolves... and every one have them have said to pretty much to shoot on sight..... but not in a direct form so they dont get in trouble.... so if i was to see one i would shoot shovel and shut up....
