Got last fall?s buck (http://www.monstermuleys.info/cgi-b..._thread&om=22020&forum=DCForumID6&archive=yes)back from the taxi this morning. He is a pretty buck.

If you note in the second pic, there is some hair in the throat area that doesn't want to lay down. Below that is a pic of that area from the other side. The large roundish area is about 2? in diameter and is a scar. Looks like it was a bit torn up. If you look to the right and a wee bit up, you will see two other scars that look like they may have been puncture wounds. Looks like something may have gotten a hold of him and he got himself away. What ever happened, it must have been a rough day?

A trick the taxidermist told me was to spray some hair spray on that spot and gently use a comb to spread the hair and the back of your hand to press it down. I have done it many times on my mount and it works.

Government doesn't fix anything and has spent trillions proving it!!!
Let's face it...After Monday and Tuesday, even the calender says WTF!

If you have potters clay laying around get a marble size ball and get it moist and rub it in the hair till it lays down like you like it and then let it dry and brush it out!! Works everytime!!

Great looking buck. The scar almost looks like a broadhead wound.

That ain't a camel toe, that's a moose knuckle!

Thanks for the input! I'm not too worried about a bit of hair out of place. I really don't know the deal on that scar, beyond that its interesting. It does look a bit like it could have have been a broad head.
