Yeah for 3rd choice!!!!

Anyone else draw their 3rd choices....and jumping for joy as much as I am right now???
(Can you sense the sarcasm....?)
I guess I shouldn't complain....I could have NOT drawn anything like some of my family members. Just venting....

I drew my 3rd choice also....general season muzzy tag on the Kamas unit. Hey, at least we're hunting this year! There's a lot that didn't get so lucky.

3rd here to, chalk creek, morgan, south rich, archery might just wait till snow flys and hunt extended mabey couple days of the opener.....

I got incredibly lucky. I drew third choice archery and my 13 year old boy drew 2nd choice rifle on the same unit !!! What are the chances of that. Now we can hunt archery together and go back for his rifle if need be. Incredible is all I can say.

i also drew 3rd choice. kamas general buck tags for me and my son. we are happy for them, i dont think anyone else in my family drew anything. come on october

I dont wanna hear all you whiners about drawing your third choice, I drew my fifth choice fillmore oak creek archery, I've hunted it alot with a rifle but never with a bow I'm gonna be lost now

All 5 of my choices where for achery and I drew not a one of them. It looks like Im going to try to buy a archery tag that is left over and at least hunt the extended hunt this year... Talk about bad luck for me.

I got my 4th choice. None of my family drew out at all.,zilch and all my friends drew for other areas, so much for the fun family and friends hunting...Oh well, it will still be fun...

Anybody know what the deal is with wasatch extended archery? I drew a general season archery tag for fillmore oak creek so can I still hunt the wasatch extended archery as long as I take the ethics course?

Yes you can...but I think you have to wait until after the general archery season.

Dad and I drew our 4th choice...1504 archery. We have hunted there in the past, so I guess thats a bonus.

I also have a question....in Utah, if you are drawn for any of your 5 choices you don't get a PP?

In California, if you don't get your first choice, you get a point. Just wondering

It says in the Proclamation that you get a preference point if you don't draw your 1st choice.

Also you can hunt the Wasatch Ext. hunt with any G.S. archery deer tag after the general season dates end and after you take the ethics course.

Hopefully that makes sense.

I got lucky and drew my 2nd choice. Congrats to those that drew.

3rd choice central nebo muzzy here. Family owns a little property out west of Manti, but it is more winter ground than anything, oh well perhaps while out there I can get one of those $50 coyotes. However, if anyone wants to trade for a manti/san rafael muzzy tag I would be willing!!

We all have to take one for the team. We all cant complain we have no deer herd then when dwr cuts tags and now complain we didnt get a tag. Unit 4,5,6 was my second choice and i would of been happy with my first or second choice. I have killed nice deer in all the 5 units i put in for. Hunt hard put it all on the table. A good hunt is not always about the kill. There are some toads like sniper1 said last year i seen the 3rd biggest buck of my life on that unit. Good Luck
