so with all the fires popping up around utah who's units are on fire, i have a feeling guys with oak creek tags maybe either throwing tags back or trying to figure out what to do.

I am hoping that the Pahvant unit stays fire free.......I drew a muzzle tag for elk and am praying that all fires steer clear of there! So to all Richfield residents please be careful and not start a fire....please!
The east side of the Nebo will definitely be impacted. My son who is deputy sheriff was out checking on structure damage people, livestock etc a couple days ago and found one dead fawn, but then saw a buck deer laying right out in the middle of a burned off area. The problem will be winter range habitat for deer and elk. But give it a few years and it will be awesome winter range habitat.

why are you guys so worried about fire? especially with elk. something with those fresh fires get elk over there. first off generally the whole unit does not burn and it improves the habitat for years to come. i dont understand why everyone thinks they are so bad. probably because the media portraysit that way. just like thehy portray obama as being good. now thats a joke!
