Start at 25 yards and work to 50 then 75 then 100 yards. I had a knight that was like that. Try it and see what happens. Might be one of those junkers like mine.

Try a different bullet combonation. I started out with Hornady 240 gr. 44 cal. in my Knight. I could not get them to group under 12 inches at 50 yards. I have now switched over to the Precistion 360 gr. Extreams. I have several times shot sub MOA with open sights.

Whats your buddy's load? Powder(in brand, volume)whats your buddy's bullet? ( brand, grains)more info needed! Talk to me man! Regards, WILL..

He shoots an encore. He has tried many different variables. In the .45 cal. he has used , I belive 270 grain, 240 grain and also has used 180 grain sabots. He is using powder, not pellets , howevever i'm not sure of the brands. I mean this damn gun is all over the place. There is no group whatsoever. He'll send one in the dirt 20 yds shy of a 100 yds then send the next one 5 foot over the target. It is absolutely ridiculous no matter what brands or loads he is using. have you heard of this??

Shedcrazy,

Is your buddy useing a scope or open sights? I was out shooting my 270 a couple years a go and had the verry same problem that you discribed. I spent several trips to the range trying to figure out what was going on. After several trips and many hours working on the problem, all that I had left to try was to replace the scope. The next ten shots could have been covered up with a silver dollar.

If he is not useing a scope I would be for sending it back to T/C and have them figure out what is going on.
