Though that's me 30+ years ago, I didn't kill this buck but a good friend of our family did. IMO, this is the Biggest and Best Buck that i have ever held. Almost 40", very heavy, and high. Dream Buck for sure.
Note of interest, this buck was one of several monsters taken on the same outa state trip. If or not it was the biggest one of the group is a matter of opinion... the others are just that good!

edit; i found the pic of the group that the above buck was part of. The one i'm holding above, is the same buck as the hunter is holding, Harry Rowell. Freaking Toads all!!

Yes, was a good long while ago, taken in Nevada i believe. That tall 30+" super heavy buck is no slouch either!
