Lol, did I get your attention??:) Yup, sure enough, another post looking for assistance. We are from out of state and unfortunatly dont have the time nor the resources to do any pre-scouting, i.e. woman. I personally bought an over the counter beat tag, hoping to find an area where we can get both accomplished. Seeking first bear, and mature buck. All info, and pics appreciated. Much love!!

LOL, at least he asked in a unique way instead of the old "not looking for anybody's honeyhole".

Best unit in the state. Booner critters behind every tree. You'll have no prblem killing a trophy. Just cruise around on all the back roads and you should see plenty of animals to choose from. Four wheeler might be helpful so you don't have to drag or pack your animal back that 200-300 yards to your truck either. Now if ya really wanna whopper get one of them 1000 yard guns that you can shout out to 1200 yards and you will be golden. Happy huntn'.

Thanks Zekers, I'm glad someone can appreciate a little creativity. Everybody always has a hater:). The real funny thing is, people describe themselves by the words they post on these forms. Save the drama for your mamma!!

LMAO I like this smartazz!! Welcome. To bad I dont know 70 or I would help you. Well played Newbie!

Ya but to end with "much love"... IDK about the rest of you guys but that just don't seem right. :)

I guess I'm busted. My coy way of looking for a date on MM revealed. You boys need to get intouch with your feminnen side. Or maybe the alternative... We could pound our chests and see who has the biggest package?? Insult each others ethics, or methods. This is fun, who's next?? Oh, and tail chaser who needs a rife that shoots 1,000,000 yards?? I killed a buck at 676.22266 yards last year with my archery tackle, head shot. I hit right where I was aiming:)

I hav hunted in Co unit 70. I took a decent buck during a 4th season hunt. Which hunt do you have? I might be able to give you few ideas where to look depending on your hunt.

Thank you Utah, archery deer. I'm not sure exactly on the dates, but do know it's through the month of September. Bucks are going to be somewhat hi I would imagine.

Sorry for being a ##### lightning. It just gets to me that so many people get a tag then come to MM wanting honey holes or a bunch of free info, when you dam well know that a bunch of other guys have busted there balls and spent a ton of flow & time to find a spot just to have some guy shop up and say "well this is where i got told to go from the internet"

Get a map and pick a spot then go hunt it!

Why does everybody come on here and need a spot given to them to go hunt?

Apology accepted Horny, I'm glad we can kiss and make up. I totally see your perspective. Let me shed some light on mine. This day and age we have evolved from a map and a compass. We have tools like MM to network and communicate. When it comes to success in life or the field, I try and tap into any resource I have. Is it spoon feeding me a big buck? No, not even close. I still need to work, purchase resources, become familiar with my resources, purchase and put in for a tag, get a little lucky and draw a tag, drive ten hours, and then have the ability to climb a mountain, find a buck, and stick an arrow in his heart. To ask me to pre-scout an area, find the bucky areas, that in which are ten hours away and that I probably will never hunt again is just unrealistic. I am very busy and my other priorities consume my time. But to all those that know where the bucky areas are in the unit, let me try and gain some leverage. I am an avid bow hunter who knows where the bucky areas are in my state. I would be more then happy to assist you in my neck of the woods if you would like to return the favor. I will put up pics of my first accoplishments I have harvested with a bow. Sense then, I have not gone a year without filling both my elk and deer tags. And sense then I have bettered my first accomplishments as far as score goes.

Thank you very much. He is already climbing mountains, anchors in and shoots straight.

Lightning and I are going to Colorado together and I was able to get the archery tag for deer. Lightning is a good friend and wanted to try to get a little info on the unit for me. I am in California and as much as I would love to do a scouting trip, its just not in the cards. My wife and 3 kids keep me busy, she is not happy about me drawing this tag in the first place. lol. I have already spent hours looking at maps and googol earth. I have bought topo maps of the area from hunting fool. For me hunting is a lot of camaraderie, making good friends, telling hunting stories and having fun in the process. I have killed a few good bucks and a lot of almost's on others. So if someone wants to share a little info cool, if not i understand that too. Just do not start talking s#%t to a good guy trying do a friend a favor. I will follow suit with lightning and post some pics.

It's getting deep in here. Bry, I hope Jen is looking at you, the kids, or the latest shoe sale.

Dang, can sure see why you have no time for scouting! What part of the season are you going?
