Anybody down in this area have any info on how dry it is down there. I have the archery tag and am a little worried about how dry it is.

Personally I would be thinking the opposite- less water, less spread out. Sit water, people do it every year with lots of success on various units/states throughout the west. Spot and stalk definitely gets you out and actively seeking the deer but sometimes all methods are worth giving a shot. Good luck their are some great deer up there now. i.e Tropic Res :)

The monsoons have POUNDED the Paunsy!

Since the 4th of July, some areas on the plateau have received
over 2" of rain...My wife and son have archery antelope tags
there this year ...
Took this picture a couple weeks ago of tropic res..

+1 w/gator. There will be several slammer bucks taken on the Pauns this year with most of their pics never seeing the light of a web forum. Premium entry doesnt mean you can drive through the unit and shoot boone bucks from your truck- Henry's yes Pauns not really. Luck.

plenty of slammer bucks are taken by road hunter and most taken
less than a hundred yrds from a road!!
you'll see bucks alot of em just bring a lot of arrows!!

We went down to the Paunsagunt for 5 days the weekend of the 24th and it raind everyday!
