Do you guys think this is the same buck in all these pics? The first four were taken last year. The last three were taken this year? There definitely are some similarities.

Last year he didn't have a main beam on his right side, this year he doesn't have a main beam on his left side.

And... Is he a shooter with an OTC Archery Tag in Utah (even though I have some bigger bucks spotted). Should I take him if I am given the chance?

Looks like the same one to me if they're in the same spot obviously. He's a slug this year!!!!!

he looks the same to me. his G2 on his left side looks too similar to not be the same buck. also his G2 and G3 on his left side look the same shape and general appearance as it was last year.

I wouldnt hesitate on that toad. he has some awesome character to him and his mass on the back forks is too cool!

Great pictures also

LAST EDITED ON Aug-07-12 AT 02:24PM (MST)[p]Same buck for sure. Gotta love the little sticker and extra on his left side this year. Great buck.

I think he's great. I like deer I have history with. I'd kill him for sure.

Looks like he's got the same face-paint as well. Awesome buck. Good luck hunting that guy!!!

Same buck, and definitely a shooter on any general unit in Utah... Good luck..!!

2 YEARS IN A ROW missing a main beam on either side! No wonder they call you UTARDS!

>In the first year it sure
>looks like he has both(small)
>main beams to me.

Here are two more pics from 2011. He had a nub on one side, but that was it for his main beam. I have pics of other bucks in the area and they almost all have kickers and great tops, but very weak fronts. It is just a genetic component of the area.

Same buck from 2011 showing no main beam...

Here is a different buck in the same area... I had him with a bow at 35 yards and let him go. Probably made a mistake on that one.
