Well after sending for 10 states and 30 plus draws i ended up with out drawing one dang tag. I even sent for one for sure draw and 2 others that were better than 50% draw odds, i still got zero.lol. This story is getting old as many of u guys know. I started looking around and finally buying a CO land owner tag just like i have done before when times get rough for my hunting world. The tag had some ground that we could hunt also with public. I hunt CO just about every year for big mule deer just becuase every year i see giant bucks and sometimes i even get a whack at one. This year me and my buddy Mat never saw a huge buck but we saw a hand full of nice bucks. I think in a week of hunting we saw only one buck pushing 180. We still had a awsome time and cant wait to do it all over again. I have not posted pics in a couple years on here becuase of all the negative things said when guys post up there kills. I will throw in a couple other pics of bucks from the last 2 years from CO also. We love to bowhunt.

This is a pic of my buck i shot the very last night there. I was really happy to get this guy being the last night and the last 20mins of light. One of the top 3 bucks i saw in a week of hunting. The great part about this buck is i shot and wounded this buck 3 nights before i killed him. I set up a ground blind to try and kill this buck. He came in the last few mins of light. I took a broadside feeding shot at him at 79 yards. At the sound of the shot he took off like a rocket. It made a sound of a hit but did not sound good. I looked for my arrow and blood that night but found nothing. I came back in the morning and after 300 yards from the shot i look down at random and find a couple drops of blood. Well after many hours of looking all i could find was about 15 drops over the course of 200 more yards. I was sick with myself. I knew i made a good shot the deer just took a soild 2 steps before my arrow got there. I also knew i had just nicked him somewhere towards the back end. I figured the buck would be ok becuase he was not limping nor did he ever lay down. Well fast foward to the last night in camp. I have not seen that deer for 3 days and i choose for my last hunt in CO to go back and sit in the same ground blind one last time. There was a big old 2x3 that was running with him that should be thinned from the pool so i told myself if he came back in he was dead. With about 30 mins left as on cue my big 2x3 steps out at 45 yards with about a 24 inch 4x4 but very young. The only problem was they came from a new way and i did not have that shoot window open. now they r 18 yards from the blind. I am laying in the bottom of it so they cant see me through the screen. I thought no big deal they will feed by my open window. Well best laid plans never work out. For 10 mins the stay in one spot and will not move. Now its getting darker and they r not helping me. So i make the choice that the window must come down some how. As i peek back up to try and get it down out steps my buck from 3 nights before. Now i was in total shock. i could see the ruff spot of hair on his butt were i had nicked him. Well i got one side down with the bucks looking right at me now. I came to full draw in the bottom of the blind took my font of my bow and pulled back the other side all in one motion. The bucks took off but stopped out around 50 to look back. Bad idea for my buck. I drilled him and the rage did its job once again. 60 yards and he was done. An awsome end to a fun hunt. I wish we saw some better bucks but thats hunting and who can be upset with 2 P and Y bucks in one trip.

My buddy Mat shot his buck on the 4th night there. He shot him at 72 yards. We waited till morning and recovered his great buck. This was the best buck that he had a shot at so it worked out great for him.

Who could have anything negative to say about those pics. Congrats to all you guys on getting some awesome bucks.

Congrats on them past bucks. They are some nice looking bucks and some that I would not pass with a bow. Congrats again and thanks for sharing.

Aaron congrats on another great deer. You guys did awesome once again. I have hunted with Aaron, Matt, and Jeff several times now and these guys are not only great guys but they are bowhunting fools. Great shots and they always seem to put the smack down on big Muleys. Congrats on 2 more great bucks.

Aaron maybe you guys need to get your Idaho tags and make that long drive up here from California. I am heading back out there on Sat.
