My son Shane drew that tag also. Maybe we can trade info through
out the summer. But I can't help out now, We are in the same place you are. Need to get the maps.

Buckshot sorry to see the first response you got on the Deer side. If you can't come here for help then what good is it. Most of the folks out here are very helpful, others you just have to ignore. I can't help you with your search, however I hope you are successful!

There are other sites that you may also try. If you want my source for info give me a holler.

You will probably do better than the rifle crowd as once those bucks get spooked, it will be very very hard to locate them down there.

Henerys has some unbelievably steep canyons with thick pines. Up top it's just as steep but open above the treeline. My advice is get there and set up camp at that spring (forget the name) or at the schoolbus, at least 4 days before the season and begin scouting. There is alot of true desert area there down low that will hold some big bucks but it may be extremely difficult to locate them without a chute plane.

Father drew bison there few years ago... we hunted the hell out of the henerys but he didn't tag out.

buckshot that would be great there is only 5 tags down there for muzz (I think) so we should be able to help each other out and not interfear with each other I will try to keep you posted but just like you I know nothing about this unit Thanks for the response
