My ten year old can't get enough hunting this year. ;o) Not looking for anyone's spot just some general areas. We would be hunting mule deer second season. I'm looking at the James Peak Wilderness area and a place to put my pop up camper.

Well, did you make it out today, and if so, how did it go?

I didn't get up until late Saturday but have went the last couple days not seeing anything in the park. Internet tough by phone up here email and text works better. How are you doing buddy?

Still nothing...may come back on Sunday for the day. I have to coach my son's football game on Saturday. How have you done?

I am hunting 4th season, but have been going out with an out of state buddy to help him find a deer. Yesterday was successful. He shot a 20" 4x5. That snow really brought out the deer. We saw 25 deer before he shot his at 8am yesterday. Keep at it, they are still at all elevations. Saw some at close to 11,000 ft this morning. We are now on to trying to find him an elk. Good luck!

I had to come back to coach a football game tomorrow. I may come back for Sunday. NICE job on the buck! I saw a 320" elk while up there I can tell you where I saw him last?
