Does anyone have any opinions about the quality of the unit 44 deer for 2012?Is this a good year to burn points for a 4th season hunt.

Points are burned and have tag in hand but Colorado will always let you get them back.I was just asking for opinions on the unit for this year.

It will really depend on the weather between now and then. If you get some heavy storms, it could be a good year, but if you don't get snow, it could be tough going.
My friend killed a nice buck in there last year.

Talking some weather beginning to move in by the end of the week with wind, cold, and snow. Just hunt and be happy you have a tag in a good area.

I like to go earlier, It sucks walking through 2 feet of snow.

Thanks for the advice.Would the hermits still be a good bet if we get some snow by 4th season. Thanks

sorry man dont pound the hermits YBO sorry but your sending the poor guy into a death trap everyone in the state that thinks they have any clue to the unit says hit the hermits well everyone listens and you got every hunter every season hittin the hermits. do your homework man get there a little early and jus get away from everyone else. i know theres not many tags out there but jus think the hermits were pounded for 3 seasons already there done. hunt ohter places do some homework and find the holes
