I shot this buck 10 minutes into the archery hunt here in utah this year. This was a buck that I had scouted and the buck that I was hoping to kill. To kill him so early kind of sucked but I wouldnt do anything different. I made a perfect shot entering the back of his ribcage and angling down into his opposite shoulder. He has 6 points plus eyeguards on each side and is my biggest buck ever.

I love when the stickers are the same on both sides. Thats a great buck. Congrats on what looked like a short but fun hunt.

I know how you feel, my hunt lasted a whole day later than yours this year. I am used to passing on a lot of smaller bucks just as an excuse to spend more days in the field and hunt the front all the way through November. Beatiful buck though and one worthy of an arrow on day 1. Congrats.

Sweet Buck Josh!! Sounds like I need to be stopping by the shop to catch up on everyones hunts.

Good job Josh! You are having a great year.
I am coming up to the shop tomorrow, I expect some steep discounts :)
