Beaver Youth Rifle

My 13 year old son has a tag for the Beaver hunting zone this year. I know nothing about this area and due to unforeseen complications we have not been able to get up there to scout the area. Any information that you could pass on would be helpful. I'm not trying to get someone?s secret area for monster bucks just info on places to start. Thank you in advance.

Call the Biologist that is over the area....get ya a few good maps and use google earth to see what type of country you are going to be hunting.

Was up on Beaver Mountain last week. Dont go to the top, nothing but does and fawns up that high. Some good country up there though. A lot of people like the lower stuff west of Beaver and Manderfield, etc.
