Well it look's like a couple trailer's will be hanging out on monte this year. Went up there last night for a drive and seen a few trailes's and a truck and trailer in nasty spots. Look's like my cache deer hunt is over. I cant get off the road's with all this snow.

2 to 3 ft at monte!!!!? WOW! We might have some snow to ride on this year, my sled sat pretty idle last winter.

I can't beleive randolph had 18" - what a storm.

WISH I WAS HUNTING TODAY!!!

How far did you make it back? We have 4 trucks stuck right now. Had to get pulled out by search and rescue. First year up there and didn't know when its raining to pull out. Heading up tomorrow to see how the road is hoping we can get back and get our rigs out.

With temps nearing the 70's in the valley within the next week, I would hold out and head up in a week to get your rigs out. No sense of rushing in there, risking damage to your stuff when it isn't necessary. Be patient, plan and prepare for when the opportunity is best.

I didnt go far off the main road. At dry bread pond across the road on the right down in that hole off to the right i seen a trailer. I was by myself so didnt want to get stuck and have my wife freak out. I am wanting to hunt bad but no one to hunt with. My buddy i hunt a lot with is a bow hunter and is about to have a baby. Going to hunt hard this weekend and see what happens. I smoked a nice buck on the last day last year so there is still hope :) If you are a hard hunter and around 30 im taking apps for a new hunting partner haha jk. My brother is to lazy to keep up with me or hunt as hard as i do. Good luck getting your stuff out. Last night there was a couple feet of snow on top. Wish i could get my father in laws big snowcat up there to help some people out. Like said ^^^^^^ wait it out a few days and try again. Did you have chains????

I have chains now. We weren't expecting that much snow the report only said 3-6 inches. We got 3 feet overnight where we were at. And was pretty much screwed. Tried to push a trail through but only made a 1/4 mile trying all day long until we got picked up. We are stuck at six bit

I agree with Blodtracker, be patient and you'll be able to get them out easily next week once the snow settles....winter isn't quite locked in up there yet. Still, I pulled my trailer out Sunday night.

Wow didn't think you all would get that much out of this storm.
