I had been hunting Oak Creek with my daughter having a hard time getting set up on them and running out of light. Finally had sucess for her monday night. Lucky bugger only 14 years old with one point scored a nice tall 23 inch 4x3 buck. Beautiful shot put it down like you see on T.V. now on to mine . I had to get back to work for a few days but couldn't wait to get down and try my luck I was fortunate enough to have my wife come along, she always seems to be good luck theres been two differnt occations I have had her with me and scored nice bucks. We got there late thursday night and hit it early friday morning we got into a few deer that mornning including a nice four that only had one side seemed to be more hunters then deer though. So we decided to head for higher ground to see if the deer had made there way down or not. And it seemed they had no tracks no deer no hunters nothing. Getting frustrated and running out of time trying to decide my next move. The wife tells me just go with your gut and it clicked I had been to a spot back in the day with my cousin but hadn't been back for a while he had always insisted that there was a monster in there. Well I'll tell you what I'll listen better next time that is if he'll ever talk to me again. Check this guy out I need to have someone measure him for real but I figure he grosses 195 befor deductions 29 1/4 out side 22 inch main beams 36 inches of mass. Hang in there and pass on the little guys. Let them grow and your time will come.
