it was the first day of his hunt we had seen some nice big boys early just could never get on them. the guy we were with was great at spotting deer so the last road we went down we stopped and he saw some deer a good 1000 yards away put the spotting scope on him and this was the buck we wanted so we drove as far back up the highr road and walked three ridges right when we got to the top of the third ridge there he was. my son dropped down to take a shot and the buck slipped down the ridge so we had to slide up a good 15 feet to were he had a shot. well not like there dad my boys are great shots dropped him with one shot and as we walked to the buck man he got bigger and bigger it was a hunt i will never forget. now days i would rather see my boys get the deer it is so much more fun for me.
