First buck, Southern California public land, DIY success after 7 years!

Not a MonsterMuley, but proud of him! Took me seven years of hunting public land in Southern California to find and connect with a legal buck. Caught him following some does only a quarter mile hike from my truck. Success at last!

I grew up hunting down there. People just don't realize how big an accomplishment that is on public land. I have lived in Utah the last 21 years, but still have friends that hunt down there and would be very happy to have a chance at a good forky like that. Congrats
