Has someone already posted this pict in the past and I missed it? Is there a story behind it?

I have a little info on this buck, but just not when it was killed. I'm guessing this year. I do know it's a huge buck.

I know it was huge and scored 247 gross. I heard it was killed in general season southern utah.

I got that same pic in an email a few weeks ago, simply titled "the Meeker buck". Interested to know the scoop as well. Awesome buck.

Hmmm... Hunting in jeans...with a dog... Where's the pile of apples..?? :D

Yeah....I don't see any Sitka clothing, german binoculars, 1200 yard custom rifle, 12 spotters, etc. No way he really killed this buck :)

I heard its called the "hanberg" buck. Killed south of Boise.

"That's a special feeling, Lloyd"

Misinterpretation of my original post... I was just playin around... Looked all relaxed sittin there... I couldn't help but throw the apple thing in there... Sorry... :D I didn't mean he didn't really kill it...

Who was the hunter? He needs to get credit for credit for killing a awsome buck! Does anyone know who the hunter was?

My name is Cory Ruchti, I killed this deer in Colorado this year during the 3rd rifle season on private land DIY. The buck green scores 240, 36 inches wide, 21 points. Funny to me how fast this photo has made it all over the U.S. through text and email also how the story changes everytime it is forwarded to someone new!! lol.

Cory,
That is an amazing buck and now we know the owner I can only say, well done Sir! If you are so inclined most of us would love to hear the details.
Congratulations on a buck of a lifetime!

I'd have held off on posting the pic and went to Mossback first. I'd have proposed for a couple grand letting them photoshop in 8 - 10 guys plus Colorado Buck and then they coulda thrown a Mossturd stamp of approval off to the side. Yee haw...
