2012 Crawfords Hunt

Did anybody have a tag this year? How did the hunt go? I know one guy that hunted this year and said it was a great year up there. Did anyone see the double droptine buck? Just trying to gather some info on this unit, I would really like to draw it in the next few years.

I went up there over the opening just with a couple buddies just spotting. There was a decent amount of shooting going on (like 8 or so different shots) but only one guy drove past us with a 150 inch 4 point. The biggest bucks we saw was like a 27ish inch 4 that would have went low 180's then another buck that was a 25ish inch 4 that would have went mid 170's. Over all we saw probably 150 does and 30+ bucks. We were only there from about 2 till dark. There was no snow anywhere and it was drizzling rain off and on. Would be a really fun tag to have if you had time to take off work and spend the whole hunt up there. I guarantee you could find a giant buck up there if you hunted your butt off!
