Well here is the buck my buddy took today. He missed a GIANT 6 times think he got the fever haha:) But ended up taking a great buck so it was ok I guess. The pack out was unreal still froze but was all in fun and good times. I love this hunting stuff I cant get enough!! Merry xmas to everyone hope u all have a great day with your loved ones.

O yea I forgot to say he missed that GIANT 8 times a few days before so he shot 14 times at the big buck not one hit him. So wish I still had my taG :( But at least he will be there next year an I can look for his sheds!!
 
What do I have to do to become a Ute? Seems like you guys live the life. Pretty sure I'd fit in if you are looking for any new memberships ;-)

I just can't get into SUPER late season buck hunts. I don't know how your buddy missed seeing as how even the most pressured of deer here on can walk right up to right now.

So if your name was on the tag u wouldnt kill?? yea right man. U all would kill if u had the chance. And as for walking right up on him dont know what pen u hunt in but in southwestern Co. the deer dont let u walk up on them and kill em even if the deer are in the post rut stage!!!!

Couple of smokers!! Would be tough for me to pick one of the two if there as a choice to be made. Those bucks look like they could be related. I'd probably go with the typical but either are monsters in my book.

What does he score, i'd guess about 190 gross??

My nt has a lil over 200 frame. And his has a big frame too. Bigger then 190 sir.

Thanks. I sure he was 20+ more inches bigger. And I hope I can turn up his sheds this spring!!! I have a few pics of him but not so clear. Going back in there in the am and try to get better ones. O yea forgot to say the Giant is a huge TY.unreal deer.

I got to tell you Ute, that typical in post 21 is about as sweet as they come. Just beautiful. You have hung tough over the years with the haters. Way to stick it out and thanks.

No. I wouldn't take the tag. I enjoy hunting. you enjoying killing big bucks. guess to each their own.

Why would you make it a point on this thread to let everyone know your hunting preferences? I doubt Ute or anyone else cares.

Great bucks and congrats on another successful hunt. I look forward to your pics every year. I hope your buddy got a new scope or some shooting sticks for Christmas. Maybe next year he'll be a one-shot killer.

I always wonder why these posts turn into a soapbox for some people. The internet is an interesting place.
 
Don't know you travishunter3006 and kinda glad I don't.....I have seen many of your posts ( funny alot of them have been deleted by the moderators) as you sound like an ass ...We all hunt for various reasons and hunt with a variety of weapons, some on private property and some on public land...I am no better than you and you are no better than I...just because you can't get into hunting SUPER LATE SEASON BUCKS on private property, that is your opinion...and just like you said "to each their own". Maybe you should think before you type.

He was killed on stateland not private. But yea wat u said!!!! :)
 
In the spirit of the holiday season...I apologize to Ute and Woodruff. I got to thinking (which I normally shouldn't do) about baggin on this hunter and his deer because i disagree with the manner of the hunt if you would. I came to the conclusion that if the deer is taken legally then who am I to B*tch about how/when/where, etc.


Congrats to the hunter again.
