Stolen Tree stands

How many of you guys have had tree stands stolen. I had one stolen last year. I walked into it about 1hour before daybreak and cant find my stand anywhere someone had found it I dont know how, but they did and they took it out with theme. It was a climber I sure would like to find that SOB.

We have never had that happen in our camp, however we hardly ever see a nother bow hunter the entire season. That would suck, those things are not cheap.

I had one stolen last year off of private ground. They took my steps too, bastards... I should have had a lock on it but, it was on PRIVATE land. I wish the penalty for tresspassing was worse... On the up side, I got the stand on sale for $25 and the steps were only another $25 so, it didn't hurt that bad, but still pissed me off. I HATE thieves, the only thing worse is rapists and murderers...

I've never had one stolen, I always lock mine. Everyone knows where my stand is too. I'd try it again. Get a cheap climber and a trailtimer. Set them up and see if you can get some pics of the SOB thief (just hide your trailtimer well). Sorry to hear about that, some people just have no respect.

I have had a ole' man vision stolen and a regular ole'man. I still have 3 other climbing stands. All ole' man visions. I got a heck of a deal on 2 of the remaining I have both of them for 100 bucks.
