MM poster busted for poaching

LAST EDITED ON Jan-07-13 AT 01:06PM (MST)[p]No way. Leave them up. Just put a big cartoon cloud above them that says Poacher. Scumbags. I say poaching a buck like should be a lifelong ban for you to hunt anywhere!!!!

Oak, are they buddies of yours? : )

That one deer was a backcountry bruiser!! Those cars on the road have to be at least 700 yards away : ).

"That's a special feeling, Lloyd"

Id start a poacher thread (sticky) and put every pic you can find of this D bag and his poachin whore of a wife in it.

Nobody better sympathize or make exscuses for these s*** bags like the last time it happened (Deerking). They look like a couple of jackasses. Sickening.

Should have thrown the Book at them, Jail Time!!

Patiently waiting for Founder to get on this thread and state he will not judge the guy and he seems like a decent fellow that knows how to find big bucks.

Was Brownlee the Guide?

I heard they wouldna done it but they needed the meat!

LAST EDITED ON Jan-07-13 AT 03:42PM (MST)[p]A convicted poacher section would be interesting. Many will likely strike again, and having their faces known could help. The common poacher doesn't believe in hunting regulations, so they have no guilt in trying it again.

I don't see why a hearing determining how long their hunting privileges should be suspended should be held. It should be for life? This pisses me off because the officer conducting the hearing will be wasting his time and wasting taxpayer's money.

If the guy is a repeat offender like the article states, it's too bad they can't prosecute under felony charges like they did the kid in Worland, WY. That would end his owning a gun for the rest of his sorry azz life and would give her something serious to think about!!!

"Waiting for Tristate to come to their defense any minute now..."

Why would I come to their defense? Looks like they broke the law and they are going to pay for it.

I find it amusing that you spend so much time thinking about what I am doing though.

What a shame that a buck like that is down graded because of a couple poachers. If the article is correct and he is a three pete offender he should loss his rights for life. All though it sounds like it does not matter to him and he just continues to poach and commit wildlife crimes anyways, without a license.

Keep his pictures up and keep the public and locals informed of him and his poaching ways as much and as often as possible.

Sounds like he has no respect for wildlife or the wildlife laws, so the public and other hunters will have to police him and keep watch of him and the wildlife!!!

Not true, remember according the good folks on this website you are just supposed to forget about it and claim he is good at finding big Muley bucks.

Be interesting to know what other offenses the POS husband has been nailed for. Both are a couple of douche bags in my book...

Rumors here state one is taking an animal without a tag (poaching) he had a more general tag and went into a trophy unit. Got caught lost his license for a time period. In that time frame he was caught twice more... Not sure specifics, but the very fact he lost privileges and was twice caught means he could give a rats arse about what happened.

Buddy said he was still under suspension when this occurred. He could not hunt so he convinced his wife to hunt and take the animal.

Wanted it so bad he couldn't make it happen so he got his wife to be the criminal.

Isn't that the truth. I like the idea of a convicted poacher thread, or a wall of shame type thing, but he'd have to start with his buddy Lauttner (sp?) and that ain't gonna happen.

This guy and his wife are true s**t bags!! Throw their sorry azzes in jail and see how they like it. This really pisses me off.

This is the best idea I've seen onthis site. I think it would not only provide amazing amusement, but it might actually help.

What say you Founder?

In the end, I dont think any fines or loss of hunting rights affect this guy... In this case he obviously goaded his wife into killing the buck illegally because he was already under suspicion or restriction. What kind of "man" gets his wife to do his crimes for him..?? A real winner this one... I bet her parents are real proud of her...

Fines will likely go unpaid... Jail time is the only thing that this guy would find as punishment (maybe)... And considering the number of offenses, I can't believe they wouldn't put him away for as long as possible...

Or do I have it all wrong..?? Maybe in CO this is a new pre-requisite to receiving a guide's permit..?? :D Sorry, couldn't resist

I believe once anyone shows themself to be a serial poacher the reprecussions should be much more significant than they seem to be. How much would that buck be worth if you owned the land he was on and had a tag to sell? Alot more than $12k I am guessing, so is that really a deterrent? Heck, I'm not shed hunter, but what does a 230+ Non-Typ go for?

Clearly this guy should be equally charged as an accessory, not just for "possessing" it and lose his priveledges for LIFE, get jail time, and pay for Fish and Game's investigation costs which should be more in the mid to high 5 figure range, not $12k.

Also found out today that this was not a pet deer or a community deer, although during the winter it had moved down. The guy got caught because the Guide who owned the lease where the buck was killed caught them. So while it was on private land at the time, it was at least in an area where they are actively hunting.

The guy was denied access to the lease/property at least twice prior to the killing an knew he was not supposed to be there, it sounds like a tress pass issue, and also a poaching issue.

A. He might not get a free pass here because he isn't from Utah...

B. More pics of his wife please.

They don't seem like the sharpest tools in the shed by posting pics of a poached buck on a highly used public hunting forum. Sounds like they had it coming to them.

Hey Wisz?

Would it be a Grudge Hit?
