So this week, not only are we going to kick it off w/ the "Superbowl Game" , we'll also kick off this week w/ another AZ Strip Buck ! I have followed this buck for 2 consecutive years . Again, this year, this buck had eluded all hunters . This past year, due to lack of precipitation, this bucks antler growth wasn't quite as impressive as it was the year before . However, still an impressive buck, crazy character, and still about a 215" buck . Enjoy !!

Sweet buck!!
A couple ?'s for you.
1 will we get to see that 300+ you've mentioned?
2 I read somewhere that you've never killed a muley. Is it true? just wondering?

Do you have 2 years of pics from this buck? Just to see the differences?

Thanks for the horn porn.
Keep 'em coming.

awsome pics Mike! always look forward to seeing your posts and the deer up there. any sheds yet?

@wyobackcountry : The 300" buck you are referring to was back in 2009 and only a couple people had seen this buck besides myself . After several days of searching for either its sheds or finding it dead , I had then informed others whom are knowledgable of the area about the buck . I'd rather of had someone else find the buck dead or its sheds rather than them rotting somewhere's. You're 100% correct, not once have I shot a single deer . I've gone hunting deer/elk w/ others , helping etc, but I've yet to knock one down myself . yes, i do have pics of this buck from the year before , but this is the best pic of the buck . There is about a 10" to 15" difference from year to year .

Thanks for posting.......you find some cool stuff. Not in any way doubting your scoring but from just this photo I would have GROSSLY underestimated this buck. Just goes to show that it can be hard to judge from a photo and especially just one angle. Thanks again...cool buck!

Thanks for the reply.
I just read about the big boy on another site while checking out pics of big strip bucks, but I never looked at the date of the posts.

I find it interesting that some guys can be so into big mule deer, spending countless amounts of time and money looking for a true giant and they dont even hunt...It's kind of nice to know that not everyone and their brother wants to kill one.

Thanks again!

That is still a fine buck, Hoping for a good rainy season for the spring of 2013.

Not so hard to understand when one can't legally own or possess firearms.
